Areas of Expertise Training with intensity and purpose has changed my life forever, and I live to share that with others in the hope that it will change their lives too. Like a lot of women, I used to perform endless amounts of cardio in the hopes that I would realize the body of my dreams. After being sidelined by a running related injury, I turned to resistance training to maintain my fitness level and was thrilled with my results. Cardio alone simply made me a slightly smaller version of the shape genetics had given me; incorporating consistent, heavy weight training has given balance and proportion to my physique and improved my body composition. Lifting has also improved my mindset about fitness; instead of measuring success in calories burned or sweat lost, my focus has shifted to improving my performance and getting stronger.

If you are tired of spinning your wheels, it's time to reevaluate your approach to fitness. Whether you are looking to lose fat, gain strength, or just improve your overall health, I will work with you to design and implement a program that caters to your needs and works with your lifestyle.

Not being an athlete doesn't mean you can't train like one. The physical demands placed on athletes require strength, flexibility, endurance, speed, balance, body awareness and coordination. By training like an athlete you will challenge your physical limits and discover what you are capable of. Whether you want to compete with professional athletes or just look like one, athletic based training is a great way to go.
